ATTY. GIORGIO GRANDINI, NOTAIO - Law and Notary Office Grandini

Born in Sorengo (Switzerland) in 1953, he graduated in law with “magna cum laude” at the University of Bern. As a Lawyer, he is member of the Bar of the Canton Ticino (OATi) and Notary Public. He owns the Law and Notary Office
G R A N D I N I•M E D I C I•A S S O C I A T I () based in Lugano, operating in the following fields: civil law, bonds, commercial, corporate and administrative.

He is member of the Rotary Club of Lugano, and is currently the president for 2013-2014.

Since July 2012, Mr Grandini holds the position of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia for Ticino.

Furthermore, he is a member of several Boards of Directors, including: VRWAY Communication SA in Luxembourg, Colombo Asset Management SA in Lugano, Fardafin Holding SA in Lugano, and QUANT World AG in Zug.

To date, he chairs the Company which offers support to the blind, “Società Ticinese della assistenza dei Ciechi” in Lugano and the Cremation Company “Società Ticinese di Cremazione” in Lugano.

He is also a member of the Board of the Foundation of the International Institute for Architecture of Vico Morcote and the Cultural Association le Muse of Tenero Contra, as well as the Administrative Director of the Free University of human sciences and technology (L.U.de.S) in Lugano-Pazzallo.

Over the years, he has held several positions, including:
President of the section Liberal Radical Party of Lugano (April 2006 - November 2013), Parliamentarian in the Ticinese Grand Council, Bellinzona and the City Council of Lugano, member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Touring Club in Geneva, Helsana Insurance in Zurich and the Disciplinary Commission of the National Football League in Bern.

He also ranked as Captain of the Swiss Army (mountain infantry).
